Year of Kindness and Gratitude: Simplicity

This week focus on simplifying your life, reduce clutter, and focus on what truly brings you joy and fulfillment. There is something you are grateful for, no matter where you are.

Try this technique – take the example of a bedroom and see how many opportunities for gratitude there are: a bed, comfort of the mattress on the bed, a soft pillow, a warm blanket, reliability of the floor, memories in photographs. A bedroom itself may not stand out much but when we focus on the parts of it we realize how valuable it is.

This week look around at the little things that support you. Think of how they are helping you in this moment.

Don’t forget to write down what you are grateful for this week and add to the Gratitude Wall in The Commons.
