Westminster’s Activities for the Beaverdale Fall Festival, Saturday, September 16

Parade 9:00 AM- 12:00 PM- Walkers/Riders are needed!

Westminster will participate in the Beaverdale parade on Saturday morning, September 16. You are invited to join us as a Westminster parade walker or bus rider! All ages are welcome to join us! Those who are unable to walk the route are invited to ride on the church bus and wave. This year the parade will start on Douglas Avenue and go south on Beaver. We will meet in the grassy empty lot between Euclid and Beaver Avenue around 9:15 AM. The parade will end at Allison and Beaver so we will be ending at Westminster! Some Westminster t-shirts are available in multiple sizes for walkers to wear.

We don’t have a parade theme yet – creative minds are needed! The church bus will be part of our parade entry. Not a lot of decorating is needed, however, it would be more fun if we came up with a theme and simple decorating to reflect the theme. The parade is a great opportunity to get the word out about Westminster!

It is always a lot of fun to walk in the parade! If you can join us, please call Susan in the church office 274-1534 or email sdenton@westpres.org.

Blessing of the Animals 5:00 – 6:00 PM

Bring a beloved pet to the church lawn for a special “blessing of the animals” worship.

All pets are welcome.
