Westminster Offers Neighborly Fun on August 1st.

National Night Out – a nationwide celebration of neighborhood fellowship- was a fun night for Beaverdale and for Westminster, bringing the community together! It was a great night to visit with church and community members – and the rain held off until the event was over!

Lots of activity on Westminster’s lawn with our volunteers handing out free popcorn, water, and dog treats. The VFW, Fareway, InvestDM, and a face painter joined us on the front lawn. A highlight of the night was a performance by the Isiserettes (Drill and Drum Corp) in our North parking lot. And of course, the kids – of all ages – loved the fire truck on the north lot. There was even a city sanitary truck on the south lot. After their performance, Westminster hosted the Isiserettes in Westminster Hall with Casey’s pizza and cookies.

A huge thank you to our volunteers who made it happen:

Rose Klingbeil, Sam and Carlyn Crowe, Samantha Thorpe, Kevin, Claire and Paul Riesberg, Judy Sebern Beachy, Matt Culp, and Drew Robertson
