The Suffrage Project

This Sunday, September 24th, the Visual Arts Committee will host an adult ed class featuring local artist Mary Kline Misol. Mary will speak about The Suffrage Project, her collection of 20 paintings now on display at Westminster.

This body of work honors the women who, as Suffragists, organized a historic drive for civil rights and won citizenship, political freedom and the right to vote for all women. Mary created these works to highlight the importance of striving toward justice and equality for all people.

Please join Mary this Sunday, September 24, in Westminster Hall immediately following worship for an informative and inspiring presentation. The Suffrage Project art exhibit will be on display in the Sanctuary and the Gallery (lower level of the church) through October 15th.
