Connect As a Church Family
The Connection Committee exists to help Westminster connect as a church family that we may grow together as a supportive, loving community. To accomplish this, the Committee:
Welcomes new members to help them discern if they should become members.
Reaches out to members and visitors encouraging connection to the Westminster church family by writing cards and phone calls.
Oversees New Member classes and is tasks with helping those new members assimilate
Groups that serve to strengthen church ties: (these activities have taken a pause during the pandemic but will continue once we can return to in-person services) such as New member class, Shepherds who help new members assimilate, Greeters, Welcome Center, Ushers, and Sunday morning hospitality volunteers
