Accounting Transition

Our Human Resources and Finance and Administration committees have approved hiring an outside accounting firm called Church Central Office (CCO) to handle our day-to-day accounting. Ruth Bloxham is leading this transition. She will give CCO the information they need to set up their systems in December, and they will take over the accounting starting on January 1st. Ruth is planning to work with them through January as they begin working with us.

In February we intend to hire a half-time office manager who will be booking our receipts and sending the accountants the information they need to do their job.

Once Ruth has trained the office manager and the system is running smoothly, Ruth is going to move to a smaller role as the accountant for our Foundation.

We are very grateful to Ruth who returned from retirement to help us through these transitions. If you have questions, please feel free to reach out to Pastor Bill or Ruth. We will keep you informed as we work through this transition.
