Live Streaming Guide

If you have never live-streamed a worship service before, we want to give you some tips to make your first experience a positive one!

Tip #1

Make sure you have a good connection to high-speed internet

Tip #2

Go through your typical Sunday morning routine without the "getting dressed and out the door on time" part! Treat the live streaming like an event. Minimize distractions and make it a family experience if possible.

Tip #2

Let us know you are worshiping with us by filling out the "Attendance Form" below the live stream window. This will open up a new tab and ask you some questions. If you have a prayer request, you can communicate this in the "Attendance Form" and a pastor will get in contact with you.

Tip #3

If you have multiple devices such as a smart tv, computer, smart phone, or tablet, use the largest screen to live stream the service, and then use a different device to download the bulletin by clicking on the "Bulletin" button below the live stream window.

Treat the live stream experience like you would in-person worship. You can light a candle in your space as a symbol of the Holy Spirit's Presence. All spaces are sacred, sometimes we just have to reorient ourselves to bear witness to the holiness that surrounds us.

You could prepare for worship by saying a quick prayer, such as "prepare my spirit, prepare my mind, and prepare my heart to encounter your love, anew, my God" or something else to center you in the moment.

And finally, participate in worship by saying the responses and singing out loud with the worship leaders on the screen. Even though we are separated by distance, we are connected in fellowship by the Holy Spirit.

Tip #5

If you have any questions, or something does not appear to be working, email Matt Crooks at  for more help.

Thank you for worshiping with Westminster, and may God bless you!
