Eric Miller has been a member of Westminster since 2014. Prior to relocating to Iowa, Eric was a member of the West Point Band at the U.S. Military Academy in New York. Highlights of his 11-year tenure include performing with the New York Philharmonic, being a featured soloist at the Kennedy Center, and performing the National Anthem at Game 6 of the 2003 World Series. Eric has also performed on Fox News, the History Channel, and NBC Nightly News.
In 2014, Eric was led to accept a position with Inheritance of Hope, a non-profit ministry that serves young families facing the loss of a parent due to terminal illness, where he serves as the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Eric holds degrees from the University of Northern Iowa (BA) and Duquesne University (MA) as well as a certificate in marketing strategy from Cornell University. He was also an Associate Instructor at Indiana University while working on his graduate degree.
He and his wife, Trina, reside in West Des Moines, with their two children, Madison (13) and Cade (10).
He looks forward to combining his passions of service and the arts to inspire our Westminster and Des Moines community with outstanding arts programs.
