Fine Arts Series

At Westminster, we believe that artistic talents are gifts from God, and that these gifts should be nurtured and shared with others. Our fine arts programs allow us to share our love of the arts with our neighbors by hosting performances of music, drama and dance, and by offering visual art exhibits. Thank you for celebrating the arts with us. We invite you to join us for other opportunities when we seek to serve our community in love. If you have any questions please email Laura.

From Boston-based Ensemble Aubade to the GRAMMY Award-winning Texas Boys Choir to Westminster’s incredible organist Kris DeWild and more - we are excited to present a number of inspiring performances this spring.

Westminster Chorale

Sunday, May 14, 10:00 a.m.
Westminster Sanctuary

The Westminster Chorale with orchestra performs John Leavitt’s “Requiem,” a cantata inspired by Brahms. Unlike the traditional Latin Mass for the Dead, this is a work to comfort the living and offer hope. Featuring arrangements of Lord Is My Shepherd; O, Clap Your Hands; Prayer Of Saint Francis; Lord Is My Light And My Salvation; Easter Carol; How Can I Keep From Singing and Gaelic Blessing, the performance celebrates the gift of life given by God and it provides solace for the living proclaiming the eternal hope and grace of Christ.
